Alternate schoolies in a developing country is a great way to mark the end of school and the beginning of a new chapter of your life.

Rotary Club of Woy Woy is seeking expressions of interest from students in Brisbane Water Secondary College in Year 12 2018 who want to consider an alternative schoolies experience by participating in an end of year humanitarian aid trip to UGANDA.

This chaperoned aid tour will empower students by providing a first-hand insight into life in a developing country. They will gain a deeper understanding of how education can break the cycle of poverty and how two different cultures can work side by side to make a positive impact on the local community.

Rotary Club of Woy Woy has been working with communities in Uganda for many years. Students will work closely alongside the in-country team and deliver educational and community support to minority and marginalised Ugandan families.

Volunteering overseas opens the door to new sights, sounds, experiences which can be worthwhile and adventurous.

When you volunteer in UGANDA, you will experience a new culture and make new friends, all while giving back to a poor community.
