Vocational Service Report. Director: Jan Steele. Brisbane Waters Secondary College. On 17th December, 2009, members of Woy Woy Rotary visited Brisbane Waters Secondary College - Senior Campus and were taken on a guided tour by Pam McAlister, Campus Principal and Warren McGuire, Head Teacjer - Vocational Education and Training.
Administration / Club Service. Director: Don Tee. PP. Saph. PHF. To say the year has been interesting would be somewhat of an understatement! As we started the year under the new District Leadership Plan, we have had a few hiccups.
Community Service Report. Director: John Greenway. PP. PHF. As usual our Club has had a busy yeay, with many projects, both fund raising and service. Participation by the members has been very good, which is an indication of why we are one of, if not the best Rotray Club on the Central Coast. It would have been nice if we had had a few more service projects, but the ones we did were very rewarding.
International Service Report Director: Trevor Walker. P.P. Firstly, congratulations to President Pete for a great year and a thank you to all other board members for their hard work during the year.
Youth Service Report. Director: Alan Ford. PP. PHF. OAM. The Youth Program for 2009/2010 of the Rotary Club of Woy Woy has set a foundation for a better youth program in the future. Making contact with young citizens has been an achievement particularly with the assistance of local schools.
Public Relations Report Director: Tony Cameron. PP. PHF. Public Relations is one of the newer kids on the Rotary management plan block. To date, in this Club, it does not appear to have gained widespread acceptance as a management tool.
Membership Report. Director: Peter Mote. PP. It has been a pleasure to serve the Club as this year's Membership Director, although I have to admit it has not been without its thrills and spills. |
